The 20 year socks
I’ve been promising my husband something knitted ever since we got married. He claims I’ve been working on these socks for the past 20 years but the sad fact of the matter is that I’ve really only been working on them for the last couple of months. With our approaching 20 year anniversary I think you’ll agree that it’s imperative these get finished now. My very patient husband has always enjoyed watching me knit gifts for other family members and has never put up a fuss. Since our recent relocation back to the Pacific Northwest he’s hinted (somewhat loudly) that he would REALLY like a pair of socks for his poor cold tootsies. So…sock number 1 is finished and I’m working on sock 2. This is my priority project right now if I want to celebrate that anniversary. lol! This pattern is from Cat Bordhi-Socks Soar on Two Circular Needles. Although I no longer raise sheep (sniff, sniff), these socks are made with cormo wool from my sheep Laverne, Shirley, Chloe and Violet.

awww hope you have finished the other sock by now

I have! In fact it’s VERY cold and windy out and the socks are really getting broken in! Thanks for your comment!
